The Eurus Wind Farm, located in Juchitán de Zaragoza, Oaxaca, Mexico, has a generating capacity of 250.5 megawatts (MW) and cost US$550 million. The wind farm has 167 wind turbines with a generating capacity of 1.5 MW each. It is the largest wind farm in Latin America. The wind farm generates enough electricity to supply about 500,000 people and will reduce emissions of carbon dioxide by some 600,000 tons annually.
