Skelmanthorpe Station was a railway station in England. The station opened 1.12.1879 and closed 24.1.1983. The station was opened by the Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway and closed by British Railways (Eastern Region).
What's left today:
Nothing remains of the station today. The trackbed going through the site is currently being used by a light railway tour company which uses the former station at Clayton West as one of its terminuses.
