Lorca, Spain (ES)
The castle dates from the 13th century. It is located on a strategic spot, from which it dominates the city. The castle is an elongated building with a polygonal floor plan, which used to be divided in three parts. On one of them is the Alfonsí Tower, with a rectangular base and a triple structure that is crowned by Gothic domes. This tower was rebuilt in the 15th century. Another remarkable feature is the Espolón Tower, with a great Mudejar influence.
