Locally famous home in Indianapolis, was owned by Jerry Hostetler who ran designer/remodling business, but was rumored by some to have had ties with or been in the Mafia. The very eccentric owner bought the home 35+ years ago and never went a day without construction to it until 2006 and he eventually died later that year. He would give contractors a new blueprint every so often for a new project. It started out as a modest ranch like the others surrounding it. The home is supposedly between 45,000 and 60,000 sq. ft. and includes a 195,000 gallon pool and only one bedroom.
It was sold in 2006 or 2007 after being put up on the market as a result of Hostetler being ill.
