Isca Dumnoniorum was a town in the Roman province of Britannia. Isca Dumnoniorum is today the present-day city of Exeter in the modern-day United Kingdom. Isca Dumnoniorum was originally a Roman fortress which later grew into a town. The town was surrounded by a city wall and 70% of the city wall remains today. Remains of a legionary bath complex were also discovered near the cathedral. Due to its close proximity of the cathedral, the site was eventually reburied and artifacts were taken from the site. These artifacts are not on display at the city's Royal Albert Memorial Museum.

Most of the city wall that surrounded the Roman town remains today, with some stonework added during the medieval times. The walls were modified during the medieval times in 876 to protect the town from the Viking occupation of England.
