American actor Jack Nicholson’s house is a 2,117-square-foot house on one acre on Mulholland Drive in Beverly Hills, California. The house, which was built in 1947 and purchased by Nicholson in 1993, is one of four properties constituting a 3-acre compound. He purchased the first property in 1969 and the most recent parcel from actor Marlon Brando’s estate, for $5 million in 2005.

Jack Nicholson owns at least a dozen properties in the US, including several more in the Los Angeles area, including a house in Santa Monica, a condo in Venice, and a 70-acre Malibu property. He also own real estate in northern California, Hawaii, and Aspen, Colorado. Nicholson also maintains an art collection worth an estimated $150 million, including works from Picasso, Matisse, Rodin, and Modigliani.

Jack Nicholson’s net worth is $400 million. He was one of the highest-paid actors in Hollywood for more than thirty years, beginning with his paycheck of $500,000 for the film Chinatown in 1974. His leading role in 1975’s One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s nest, included a 15% cut of the film’s profits and ultimately gained him $15 million (the equivalent of $60 million today). His largest single paycheck came from the 1997 film As Good as it Gets, for which he was paid $15 million. Nicholson’s role in Tim Burton’s Batman, however, is by some measures the single most profitable role for any actor in film history.
