Jimi Hendrix's House

Jimi Hendrix's House

London, United Kingdom (GB)
The great American musician Jimi Hendrix lived in the upper floors of 23 Brook Street between 1968 and 1969. The building is identified by the blue plaque that commemorates when Jimi and his girlfriend, Kathy Etchingham, resided in the house. Sadly, the apartment has since been integrated into the Handel House Museum which is located next door and is currently used as changing exhibitions and events space. Interestingly, Hendrix, who was aware of the building’s link to Handel bought some of the composer’s recordings including Messiah and the Water Music
