LaSalle Speedway

LaSalle Speedway

LaSalle, Illinois (IL), US
Stock cars race on this high-banked 1/4 mile clay oval track on Saturday nights. The track also hosts national and regional late model, midget, and sprint car series events.

In 1947 and 1948, a 1/5 mile track named "Tri-City Speedway" operated on this site. A single screen drive-in movie theater was built here and was open in the 1950's and 60's. The movie screen still stands southwest of the track.
