The National Library of Ireland was established in 1877 by the Dublin Science and Art Museum Act. The library is filled with archival papers, notes and books from Ireland's most famous writers. Writers such as: James Joyce, William Butler Yeats, Michael D Higgins, Roddy Doyle, Colm Tóibín and Seamus Heaney.
