Made by Ferenc Uhrl Ferenc in 1835, it had stood at its current place for about 60 years when, in 1899, it was moved over to a remote district of Budapest where it was completely destroyed during WW2. The fountain was reconstructed by Dezső Győri and it was reinstalled at its original place in 1976.
