England has Circles, New Jersey has Jughandles. Travel along some of the state's major roads and you see many of these. Most of them ressemble clover leaf type intersections but are mostly half of such intersections. These are made to reduce the number of left-turn lanes and reduce traffic congestion. They work pretty well if you remember to stay on the right lane to make a left turn. Wikipedia explains this very well.
