Peter Mayhew's House

This is the home of the one and only Wookie Warrior of Kashyyyk, Chewbacca, who was famously portrayed by the English actor Peter Mayhews. Mayhews portrayed Chewbacca in the Star Wars films, and lived in this $255K home in rural Hood County, TX, approximately 75 miles from Dallas, until his death in 2019. He played the character in all of his live-action appearances from the 1977 original to 2015's The Force Awakens before his retirement from the role.
