Because of the climate change local farmer Ferdinand Egede from Eqaluit Ilua, Greenland began to produce potatos at a bay north of the city of Narsaq.
2005 he could produce more than 20 tons of potatos on his fields. Today he produces more than 50 tons.
At another place, Upernaviarsuk, in southern Greenland they produce strawberries and other fruits and vegetables.
