Prince Abdul Rahman Al-Faisal is the son of the late King Faisal.
The prince sold the home in 1986 at $25M -- much less than the amount he actually spent to build the home. He built the house to use as a place for his family to stay while he conducted business in Houston.
The 22,000 sqft contemporary home sits on 3.5 riverfront acres and includes a 60-foot swimming pool and cabana, a 1,800-square-foot basement, separate living quarters for staff and a beveled glass and brass double-wide front door that is said to have cost $100,000.
