Ryavallen is still used for athletics. During the 1958 FIFA World Cup, it hosted the matches USSR-Austria and England-Austria. The stadium's capacity is 15 000.

The record attendance is 22.654 spectacors, when IF Elfsborg played IFK Norrköping, 1961.
