St. George's Garden is a small public garden in London. It is the site of the former burial ground under the same name. The plot was bought in 1713 and was one of the first burial grounds that was established away from a church. The cemetery was overcrowded and in a bad state in 1885 and closed that year. The cemetery was re-opened as a public garden thirty years later. The granddaughter of Oliver Cromwell is buried within the grounds. Many members of the Jacobites that were hanged and beheaded are buried here.
Many of the gravestones are still at the site today.
