St John the Evangelist church Waterloo

St John the Evangelist church Waterloo

London, United Kingdom (GB)
This church, St John the Evangelist Waterloo, was built between 1823 and 1824 to a design by Francis Bedford. The church had a peal of 8 bells installed in 1825 that were out-of-tune and a "feature" of the church. In the 1990s, when the church was undergoing renovation, 5 of the bells were tuned with the remaining 3 left untuned to retain some of the church's character.
