Staircase to Tutankhamun's tomb

KV62 (Valley of Kings) is the designation for Tutankhamun's tomb. The tomb was discovered in 1922 by English archaeologist, Howard Carter (1874-1939). The tomb was kept from looting due the fact that it was burried under workmen's huts.
