The comedian, satirist, actor and writer, known for his satirical style, particularly in his portrayal of uninformed opinion leaders and deadpan comedic delivery, lived here until September 2008 when he sold the home for $950K. In 2005, he left "The Daily Show" to host its newly-created spin-off series, "The Colbert Report".
