Taedonggang Brewing Company

In 2000, the North Korea government purchased the closed Ushers of Trowbridge brewery, in Wiltshire, United Kingdom, disassembled it, and shipped the parts off to Pyongyang. The brewery became operational in the North in 2002. Taedonggang beer is named after the Taedong River, in Pyongyang.
