Most of the 2012 film "The Oranges" was filmed at this house and the one directly across the street. It stars Hugh Laurie, Leighton Meester, Catherine Keener, Oliver Platt, Allison Janney, Alia Shawkat, and Adam Brody.
It tells the story of two families whose long-time friendship is strained when one father (Laurie) begins dating the 24 year-old daughter of the other family (Meester).
The story takes place in West Orange, New Jersey, but it was filmed in New York. In the film, this house is white, but appears to have since been repainted.
