Walla Walla College is a Seventh-Day Adventist school, and arguably the second best college in southwestern WA, with many non-SDA students. It is not actually in the city of Walla Walla, having been built outside city limits, and the town of College Place incorporated around the college afterwards.
Reflective of the SDA lifestyle, the town of College Place and the college itself are almost entirely caffeine and meat free. The notable exception is the Wal-Mart, built within the town limits near the border with Walla Walla.
