White Hall was the home of Cassius Marcellus Clay. He was an abolitionist, newspaper publisher and Minister to Russia. His daughter, Laura Clay (the women's rights activist), was born at White Hall in 1849.

This restored 44-room Italianate mansion was built in 1799 and remodeled in the 1860s. In addition to the heirloom and period furnishings, White Hall has many unique features for its day, including indoor running water and central heating.
