Trusts associated with Rybolovlev also own a Palm Beach, Florida mansion which he purchased from Donald Trump for $95 million. In December 2011, Rybolovlev’s socialite daughter, Ekaterina, purchased a Central Park view penthouse at 15 Central Park West, the most expensive apartment to have been bought at that time in New York, for $88 million from Chairman and CEO Sandy Weill of Citigroup, the 3rd largest bank in the US. Ekaterina, who used the NYC apartment as a dorm while in school, was reported as the buyer of the Skorpios island in Greece, from Athina Onassis Roussel for $154 million.
