Located in Cape May at the corner of Philadelphia & Beach Ave in the Grand Hotel across the street from the Atlantic Ocean. Somehow since World War II, this building was built around the Fire Control Tower. I'm curious if the tower is visible anywhere on the inside of the hotel. Why didn't they just tear it down and then build the hotel? What were they thinking? I don't get it. In any case, this is a piece of WWII-in-America history.
