2002-2003 Nissan Maxima A33

Columbus, Ohio (OH), US
The 2002-2003 Nissan Maxima A34 was the last Japanese-made Maxima before moving production to Smyrna, Tennessee for 2004. The 2002 model year marked the replacement of the 3-liter V6 offered from 1999 to 2001 with the 3.5 V6 that produced 255 horsepower for the entire lineup. A Torsen limited-slip differential was sourced from the R34 Skyline GT-R that was (unfortunately) never offered in the American market. However, it was a robust performer with a 0-60 time of 6 seconds and, according to Automobile-Catalog, can theoretically reach a top spee of 156 miles per hour for the SE.
