On Friday 29th March 2024 at 10:38 UTC, Ivo 9A1AA, a radio amateur from Croatia, made contact with Pavel OK2VEI/P, a radio amateur from the Czech Republic, who was operating from EVL Lanškrounské rybníky (OKFF-3313), on the 40m amateur radio band. Pavel made a total of 75 contacts while at the reserve.
EVL Lanškrounské rybníky (OKFF-3313)[Lanškroun ponds], is a protected area of 41.5231 hectares lying to the north-west of Lanškroun in the north-east of the Czech Republic. It was designated in 2016 as a Nature Reserve and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area Is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
