Larry Ellison's House

Lanai City, Hawaii (HI), US
Larry Ellison is the mega-billioanire co-founder and CEO of Oracle, the third-largest software maker by revenue, after Microsoft and IBM. As of 2013, he is the fifth wealthiest man in the world with an estimated worth of $43 billion. In 2012, he purchased over 98% of the Hawaiian island of Lanai.

He also purchased this home for the time he spends on the island from comedian George Lopez for $4.15 million. Ellison said, "I'm in two modes when I'm on Lanai: In engineering mode, I'm trying to find the right place for the reservoir and the desalination plant, and looking at designs for new hotel rooms. The rest of the time, I'm in decompression mode. I'm on Hulopoe Beach, going for a swim, or on my paddleboard surrounded by 100 spinner dolphins."

In an interview on Howard Stern in March 2014, Lopez said that when Ellison wanted to purchase the house from him, he offered him $4.15M, non-negotiable, and gave him 30 hours to be moved out.

Maybe Pearlridge can use a WalMart where the Sear’s building is. Or a bowling place would be fun.
