Thr Germans had a Military Air Base here in NOVA just right out in front of the airport. Close now, it was part of a CIA thing. Will tell more later. Also was used in part with OPEN AIR ops.

I use to get free Air hops on there (Luftwaffe) MAC's to Frankfurt and a ride to Ansbach, you can take your car on there hops! The Luftwaffe Airbus would run every day to Iceland and to Mons and Frankfurt, there was a mini bus that would pick you up from Mclean HQ and take you down town DC and Bolling , Andrews and Mead and back to IAD DUC HQ and Dulles on to the plane back to Frankfurt. (Good old Days of free, free, free rides.) JY.

The GMR has to "outposts" in NOVA.
The first one at IAD - GMR building at Autopilot Drive @ IAD.
The other one in Reston at 11150 Sunrise Valley Drive.
Reason: Government & NATO Collaboration.
