Mercedes-Benz E550 4MATIC W212

Mercedes-Benz E550 4MATIC W212

Upper Darby, Pennsylvania (PA), US
2009 marked the introduction of the W212 generation of the E-Class, in which it had been given a design more aggressive than its predecessors. This one is of the highest specification that isn't an AMG model, an E 550 (E 500 elsewhere). At first, E550s had a naturally aspirated V8 producing 383 horsepower, but the displacement was reduced in 2012, so Mercedes-Benz resorted to twin-turbocharging to make its horsepower 402, but resulted in a slightly lower 0-60 time, in which it was 5.2 seconds versus 5 seconds for older E550s. The 4MATIC designation indicated an all-wheel drive model.
