Michael McCaul is an American politician and attorney serving as the U.S. Representative for Texas's 10th congressional district since 2005. Born on January 14, 1962, in Dallas, Texas, he earned his law degree from St. Mary’s University and worked as a federal prosecutor before entering politics.
A member of the Republican Party, McCaul has held leadership roles in national security and foreign affairs, including serving as the chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee from 2013 to 2019. He is currently the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. McCaul's wife Linda is the daughter of Clear Channel Communications founder and chairman, Lowry Mays. Clear Channel is the largest owner or radio stations in the country.
