On Saturday 6th April 2024 at 09:15 UTC, Ralf DD0VE, a radio amateur from Germany, made contact with Leszek SQ9MDF/P, a radio amateur from Poland, who was operating from Natura 2000 Dolina Wierzycy (SPFF-2601), on the 40m amateur radio band. Leszek made a total of 114 contacts while at the reserve.

Natura 2000 Dolina Wierzycy (SPFF-2601)[Wierzyca Valley], is a protected area of 4,618.3300 hectares located in the counties of Starogard and Kościerzyna in the Pomeranian Voivodeship to the south of the city of Gdansk, Poland. It was designated as a Site of Community Importance under the EU's Habitats Directive and is part of the Natura 2000 network.
