On Saturday 6th April 2024 at 08:35 UTC, Luc ON2LVC, a radio amateur from Belgium, made contact with Krzysztof OK/SP1MVG/P, a radio amateur from Poland, who was operating from PR Bažantnice (OKFF-0365), on the 40m amateur radio band. Krzysztof made a total of 113 contacts while at the reserve.
PR Bažantnice (OKFF-0365)[Pheasant], is a protected area of 23.6011 hectares, which lies to the north of Pilsen in the Czech Republic. It was designated as a Nature Reserve in 1998 and is an IUCN Management Category IV area.
An IUCN Management Category IV area is an area to protect particular species or habitats and are managed to prioritise this objective.
