On Saturday 3rd September 2022, Lukasz OM/SQ9JTR/P, a radio amateur from Poland reached the summit of Rysy and activated this summit on the amateur radio bands for the Summits on the Air (“SOTA”) group.

He made 30 contacts in total working on the 2 metre VHF and the 40 metre HF amateur radio bands.
