This monument in Richmond, VA, was erected in honor of Thomas Jonathon "Stonewall" Jackson, a Confederate general. The monument was located at the center of the crossing of Monument Ave and N Arthur Ashe Blvd. The bronze equestrian statue was unveiled in 1919. Thomas Jackson is best known as one of Robert E. Lee's most trusted commanders throughout the early period of the American Civil War.

Jackson's statue, along with several others commemorating generals, were either torn down by protesters supporting BLM or were removed on the mayor's orders in 2020.
