Wyatt R. Haskell is an attorney with Haskell Slaughter, and a founding member of the firm. He has represented local governments, bond underwriters, industrial development boards, city and county school boards, cooperative districts, utility boards and other public finance clients in hundreds of projects throughout the state of Alabama. His practice has focused particularly on infrastructure and educational financings and economic and commercial development projects.
Active in civic and charitable affairs, Mr. Haskell has served as a director or trustee of the Birmingham Museum of Art, the Alabama Symphonic Association, the State of Alabama Ballet, the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the Birmingham Music Club. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Haskell has been involved in entrepreneurial start-ups in the real estate and construction industries, has served as a director of companies in the banking, real estate and medical device industries, has practiced in the legal department of a large energy company and has served as a Visiting Research Assistant at the University of Muenster (Germany).
