Microsoft has confirmed the launch of the Bing Maps Streetside geodata service in Germany. Camera-equipped cars will start travelling across the county to capture panoramic images from 09 May. They will initially be launched in Nurenberg, Fuerth, Erlangen and Augsburg. The first map data will be integrated with existing Bing Maps material in the summer.

Has anyone figured out how to make a Streetside URL yet? I seem to be able to bookmark the street image but not any particular coordinate on it.

Germany? Lol. They will just end up getting the crap censored out of them like Google's Street View. It's a waste of time.

Yesterday it was allready up in one of the TV magazines that is known for it's negative point of view on Google, Street View, Facebook etc.
The same concerns about the "problem" of showing private homes, people, cars etc.
The host was as negative as their invited expert.
