About

VirtualGlobetrotting was launched in 2005 as a place to share all of the amazing, beautiful and interesting locations from around the world that people were finding on the Google Maps' satellite imagery. Since then, we've added additional coverage of Google Street View, Bing Maps and Bing Birds Eye View imagery.

All of the locations on VirtualGlobetrotting have been found and submitted by our community members, whose interests are diverse and span everything from celebrity homes to roadside attractions to landmarks to military and more.

Start out by browsing through the most popular maps on the site. From there, you can browse by country and by US states. All of the maps are categorized for your convenience as well.

It's easy to share any interesting locations you've found. Simply create an account, and then head over to the map submission page.

You can also participate by uploading your Pics or even suggesting changes to postings that need to be updated.

We'd love to hear your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions or even bug reports.

The VirtualGlobetrotting UserVoice page lets you suggest ideas and vote on ideas proposed by others.

We also have forums where you can converse with other members of the community, ask for help in finding a location, and more.
