Is there a religious component to this site?

CLUE: Once you find you'll see that the site has a very obvious current use. I suspect the current buildings and gardens were built upon a much much older site that still retains its outline. The outline is very distinct. I've found minimal documentation of the current use but none of the previous, one could say historical, use.

CLUE: If you look at the upper right and left corners there are buildings with diagonal lines coming from them. I THINK they have a direct relationship to the current use of this site.
CLUE: The gardens are nice but don't directly relate to the main purpose of this site as far as I can tell.

Well, let's see... Very flat farmland. Near an ocean? A very large walled/fenced compound, but not a heavy-duty fortress. In asia...

Those diagonal lines terminating in identical shacks on the left and right structures seem to be key. The structures also share an identical number of squares, identically spaced on the roof. Some sort of sensors or antennae, the diagonal lines leading to a command and control facility?

Very tall antennas, equally spaced all the way around the outer-most perimeter fence.

It is one of the Chinese state shortwave transmitters. It looks as though it was built on top of a much older tomb or fort.
