Were you using the file upload, or download from a webserver?
Does this happen every time?

I used the File Upload button (clicking only once, of course), as I only submit my own pics.
I do not link to a pics at urls
This 'duplication' problem seems random. It has only happened twice.
I am using Firefox 1.0.7 on WinXP Pro.
I'll post up a couple of pics from my other PC today to see what happens.
Is there any facility for users to edit their submissions (pics, stories, maps or captions) after posting? Might be someting to consider turning on.
In the meantime, I'll post here if there are any more boo-boos.

Just a quick side note to all this. The purpose of the URL submission is not to allow people to submit other than theit own pics. We still want people to really only submit their own pics. The URL option was added because some people have previously uploaded their pics to other site (Flickr), and did not want to have to download the pics from the other sites just to re-upload them here.
