When you’re feeling a bit peckish, you can simply gobble up a few pac-dots or a cherry and keep on nommin'. PAC-Maps makes navigating around select locations as simple as left, right, up or down."
It's not available for classic version of GM.
Given the fact that Google chose the end of March to release this update, I'm thinking it's probably an April' fools thing. So play while you can, it may not last more than a couple of days.

One week later and Pac Man still lives! Perhaps this is Google's way of trying to brainwash us into using their new map interface?
