Hi there!

I suggest you do a GoogleEarth-Integration of Globetrotting by enabling a KML-Export (XML which contains the data of a spot) of a Google-Maps URL. Even better enable exporting a complete section of a day, search result or category as KML (which is possible).

There a numerous converters for Google-Map-URLs into KML files which open GoogleEarth directly and zoom to the spot.

Since GoogleEarth can integrate complete Databases (like the posted spots in the Keyhole forums) it should even be possible to integrate the Globetrotting-Database into GoogleEarth on-the-fly, so all Globetrotting spots are marked on the globe (but I guess this has to be organized by Keyhole).

Hmm very strange. Looks like IE kills the file before GE can open it.

Anyone have ideas? You can do a Save-To, then double-click on the file.

It would be nice to include a backlink to an exported placemark description so I could click on it and jump to the detail page on Globetrotting (to add a comment for example).

Wonderful idea! Link added as [Info] in the map's description.

It's cool, because a browser opens in Google Earth too!
