Strange caching

First, I have caching turned off in my Firefox browser.

I was navigating to this URL:
http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=55.007199,83.030550&ie=UTF8&om=1&z=18&ll=55.007182,83.030575&spn=0.00212,0.005085&t=k

For a few minutes I could click repeatedly on the "link to this map" link and alternately I'd get the summer immage and a winter image, same buildings but all snowed in.

I noticed the same thing earlier in Pensacola on my carrier posting but figured I'd accidentally jumped elsewhere. Then I was seeing the port with and without the carrier parked their.

I'm guessing that Google has some servers serving up either older maps or newer maps.

I saw a similar thing over Italy few months ago. I think you've seen a live update.
