Hey folks, there is no excuse not to. Snagit is now free. I've always felt this is the best thumbnail grabber and have used it exclusively for my 8800+ submissions. I have it running in my system tray set up to grab 150x150 region whenever I press <ctrl><shft><p>. I just position the frame over the map and left click and Snagit saves the thumbnail image automatically in Z.jpg on my desktop (overwriting the old one so I don't build up clutter). Get it. Use it!

They even have a French version for dda.

(I have no connection with Snagit other than being a paying user for the last seven or eight years.)

"overwriting the old one so I don't build up clutter"

Now that's a great idea. You wouldn't believe how many thumbnails I have cluttering up "My Pictures".

Can't seem to be able to slide my 150 X 150 selection to where I want it... Any tips?

I have Input set for Fixed Region, 150 x 150, with fixed starting point turned off.

I have Output set for File, JPEG, Fixed file name, Z.jpg, Output folder is desktop.

No filters

Options: the only option turned on at the bottom is Preview Window.

When I click the hot keys I get a red 150x150 frame that moves with the cursor
until I hit the left mouse button.

Try those settings.
