I'm not sure if this is new, or if I have not noticed because I rarely use Yahoo! Maps, but I'm finding that clicking on VGT submissions of a Yahoo! map are not loading.
I tried the only Yahoo! submission I've made:

In each case, I get sent to a Yahoo! Maps menu page instead of the map.
I stumbled across a scene I wanted to share here as I was geotagging a photo on flickr.com. Flickr uses Yahoo!'s maps for geotagging photos.
Assuming this isn't old news, it is either a change on Yahoo!'s end preventing the VGT links to work, or it's a temporary glitch.
EDIT - it's working for me now. Just a weird temporary glitch, I guess.
