The Google Maps Mania blog mentions a press conference is scheduled for Tuesday, October 28, in Madrid to publicize soon-to-be released (this week?) Street View coverage in Spain. The source of the news is a blog (in Spanish), which shows a photo of a Volkswagen Beetle with the rooftop camera. Spanish tourism officials will take part in the press conference, along with Google reps.
