Scavenger hunts are contests to see who can find the most maps in a list of categories. To participate, you simply submit maps as normal, then select the scavenger hunt category you are submitting to. Once a moderator approves your map, you automatically get points for that category.

The user with the most points at the end of the hunt wins!

Past Hunt: Long Overdue Scavenger Hunt

What a better name for this scavenger hunt than 'Long Overdue'? Maybe 'Dropped the Ball'? Maybe 'What the heck were you guys waiting for?'. Sorry! Back by popular demand, 8 months since the last one, we are finally hosting another scavenger hunt.

This is a medium-length hunt - 60 points total - and will be held for two weeks.

(3) The purpose of this one is not to just show a building in which R&D is done. We're looking for interesting infrastructure, test equipment, prototypes, testbeds, etc. We want to see the equipment actually used in the tests not just the structures that contain them.
(4) Not a static display but one that is under development

  • All maps submitted for a scavenger must be new and unique (no duplicates of old maps!).
  • To submit a map for the scavenger hunt, submit a map as normal. On the submissions page, you will have a chance to select a category to submit to.
  • Once a map is approved by the moderators, you will recieve the points for that category.
  • The scavenger hunt ends on the date listed. At that point, the user with the most point wins. Ties are allowed.
