Legends race car

A Legends car is on display in front of the Race Day Cafe, located near the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The car features the name of Mel Larson, who was one of the earliest race car drivers in the region. After his racing career was over, Larson would eventually become the VP of the Circus Circus casino.

Legends cars are an affordable entry-level form of American motorsports. Races are held on tracks throughout the country. They feature a motorcycle engine with bodies resembling automobiles from the 1930s-40s.
