This is the Yucaipa, CA home of Danny Dotson and Laura C. Dotson.
Dan Dotson is an American auctioneer who has been in the auctioneering business since 1972. Dan and his wife, Laura Dotson, run American Auctioneers, a full service auction company in Riverside, CA. In December 2010, Dan Dotson began his appearance on A&E's Storage Wars, a real-life television series which follows four professional buyers and their teams as they bid on storage units in default. When rent is not paid on a storage locker for three months in California, the contents are sold by an auctioneer as a single lot of items. The buyers purchase the contents based only on a 5 minute inspection and what they can see from the door when it is opened. The goal is to turn a profit on the merchandise.
The Dotson's 3,171 square foot single family home has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. The lot was purchased on July 2, 2004 for $629,000. The home was built afterwards, and as evidenced by the BEV images, these photos were taken before the home was built. The completed house is only viewable in the aerial imagery. The home has property taxes of $5,463, based on a 2011 assessment of $429,300, according to public records.
Some of the other stars of show have homes featured on this site, such as Barry Weiss, known as the "Collector."
