Estádio Benedito Teixeira, usually known as Teixeirão, stadium in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo state, Brazil. The stadium holds 55,000 people. It was built in 1996. The stadium is owned by the Town Hall of São José do Rio Preto, and its formal name honors Benedito Teixeira, who was a player, and a president of América Futebol Clube (SP) for 23 years.
